Threads of Justice
My name is Sadie, and I am in my last year of law school. I am often designing posts and merch for my student organizations. I quickly learned that designing brings me joy, often joking that I spent a lot of money on law school just to learn I love graphic designs. Along with graphic design being my passion, I also have a passion for social justice. I’m excited to share that I’m opening a clothing store featuring my own designs! This venture is not just about fashion, but about using my platform to support my causes. Through my designs, I aim to also celebrate my heritage and amplify important causes that are close to my heart, such as women’s rights, gay rights, and Palestine. Each piece tells a story of resilience, identity, and the power of standing up for what’s right.
Advocacy is at the heart of the law, as it ensures that the voices of individuals and communities are heard, particularly those who may not have the resources or power to represent themselves. It plays a vital role in shaping legal outcomes, influencing policy changes, and upholding human rights. Through effective advocacy, the law can be a tool for social justice, accountability, and creating a fairer society for all.
